Woven Neck Labels
Clothing labels are an extremely important element to any brand. It separates you from your competitors. Woven labels are the most common type of trim and is often the primary component of a private label.
The woven category of trims are not only neck labels but can also include side-tabs i.e. Levi’s, bottom-folds for the hem, locker patches for back nape and hip or sleeve placements.
The most common types of label to have manufactured are centerfold and end fold.
The center (loop) folds are larger labels, folded in the center and sewn across the top onto the neck tape. Centerfold labels can also be used for sleeve and hem labels.
The End Fold is narrower labels, where each end is folded on the left and right side and sewn down to the neck tape. They are applied the same way as straight cut labels, but have a softer edge.
The other woven cut labels are Straight cut, Miter fold and Manhattan Fold.
The Straight cut has no fold. Straight cut labels are usually sewn on all 4 sides, the top, or on left and right side only.
The Miter Fold labels ends are folded under and up, creating a tab to be sewn into a seam.
When selecting your woven label know that there are many options to make the perfect woven labels to help grow your brand today and put the finishing touch!
